William (Bill) George
Leadership Coach
William “Bill” George is a pastor, teacher, and student of the Word of God, serving as an associate pastor since the mid-70s at Meridian Baptist (El Cajon/San Diego), and later in the 80s and 90s at Saddleback Church (Mission Viejo), continued on help lead a church plant in San Diego. Bill served as San Diego Regional Coordinator for the “Here’s Life” bicentennial national evangelistic campaign (“I Found It, You Can Find It Too”) of Campus Crusade for Christ, doing such things as recruiting pastors/churches for evangelism and discipleship. He was a part of the founding leadership of the National Network of Youth Ministries, serving as regional leadership for that organization in Orange and LA counties under the leadership of Chuck Klein and Paul Fleischmann. Bill helped start the Center for Student Missions (CSM), which sought to bridge the gap between the suburbs and urban centers in the United States. CSM’s mission was to provide compelling short-term Christian mission experiences for youth and adults in urban settings, under the leadership of Ridge Burns. This urban ministry provided a permanent staff and mission opportunities in thirteen US cities (LA, San Francisco/Oakland, Seattle, Denver, Chicago, Houston, Detroit, Kansas City, Philadelphia, Nashville, Washington D.C., New York City, Boston, and Toronto). Bill served on the Board of CSM and as Board Chairman of this organization for decades.
Three of the writings that had a significant impact on his path early on have been the Bible (of course), “Mere Christianity” by C.S. Lewis, and “How Should We Then Live? The Rise and Decline of Western Thought and Culture” by Francis A. Schaeffer. Bill credits Dr. Henrietta Mears (indirectly, for her influence on the two Bill’s), Dr. Bill Bright, Dr. Billy Graham, Dr. Charles Stanley, Bill Stewart, Dr. David Jeremiah, and others as having more than a casual influence on his growth and service along the way.
For more than a decade Bill has helped lead in Christian higher education, working as a Chief Enrollment Management Officer (or equivalent) with Southern California Seminary, Calvary University, and now Agathon University.
Bill is Married to the love of his life, his bride Beth, for more than 50 years. Together they have three kids (Sarah, Christopher/Laura, and Melissa/Harry), and five very unique and talented grandkids (Jaxon, Lyla, and Olivia; James and Blake).

Dr. Brad Maston
Leadership Coach
Dr. Brad Maston is a pastor, teacher, and theologian whose journey with Jesus Christ has shaped a life of deep ministry, thoughtful scholarship, and unwavering commitment to the Word of God. As the lead pastor of Fort Collins Bible Church in Fort Collins, Colorado, Brad is known for his expository teaching, pastoral warmth, and passion for equipping believers to grow in grace and truth.
Brad’s path into ministry began with a degree in music from Colorado State University, but it wasn’t long before his calling expanded beyond music into full-time gospel work. His theological journey led him to earn a Master’s in Biblical Theology, followed by a Ph.D. in Jewish Studies, with a concentration in intertestamental literature. Along the way, he immersed himself in pastoral roles—serving as a missionary, youth pastor, music minister, and Bible teacher.
Brad’s heart beats for the local church, and at Fort Collins Bible Church, he leads with a focus on clear, verse-by-verse teaching of the Bible. He believes in making theology accessible, encouraging believers to think deeply and live faithfully. This commitment extends into his work Agathon University, where he serves as Executive Vice President and continues training the next generation of Christian leaders.
Beyond the pulpit and the classroom, Brad is also a regular voice on Grace Global Radio, where his daily teaching segment “A Minute for the Bible” challenges and encourages listeners around the world. He’s the co-founder of True Grace Books, a publishing venture that reflects his love for doctrinal clarity and biblical devotion.
A devoted husband and father of four, Brad shares life and ministry with his wife, April. Whether he’s discipling young believers at Camp Arete, preaching on a Sunday morning, or penning a theological commentary, Brad Maston is driven by one clear aim: to glorify Jesus Christ by proclaiming His Word and building up His Church.

Jeremy also has a civil engineering degree from Oregon State University and practiced engineering as a bridge designer before their time in South America. When they are not teaching and advocating for grace you’ll find them enjoying the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest as avid cyclists and gardeners.

Ed Underwood
Leadership Coach
Ed Underwood serves as president of the Recentered Group.
Ed’s experience ranges from fighting California wildfires with the Fulton Hotshots as a young man to his time in Germany as an Army Officer during the Cold War and finally as a Lead Pastor for over 40 years. He has a ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary and spent twenty-one years as Pastor of the historic Church of the Open Door in Los Angeles. These roles and a twenty-year battle with leukemia have uniquely equipped him to be a “Shepherd to Shepherds.”
When Ed handed off leadership of the Church of the Open Door, he asked God what was next. After prayer and counsel, it became clear that God was calling him to serve the Body of Christ by ministering to its leadership. He developed workshops and materials to address our churches’ growing need for health. Since that time he has come alongside, taught, and mentored numerous pastors and leadership teams, helping and equipping them to lead healthy communities of grace where the gospel is proclaimed and discipleship thrives.
A gifted author, Ed has written several books and discipleship materials. Notably, his discipleship manual Beginning in Grace has been used worldwide to equip followers of Jesus to live out the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. When God Breaks Your Heart, the story of his near-death experience as he battled cancer as a young pastor, has encouraged countless believers through tragedies and trials.
Having benefited from godly mentors, Ed loves to provide space for pastors to be seen, heard, safe, and soothed and to give them tools to minister well.
